  Calculations for wall removal

  We used StructSpectrum to book a structural engineer to provide calculations for the removal of a wall between the kitchen and dining room and the bathroom and WC. Everyone was great at communication and the calculations were provided in a timely manner. Our structural engineer Saeed kindly offered an excellent consultation and was extremely knowledgeable and informative. I would definitely recommend the service!

  Open plan kitchen diner calculations

  Found the team extremely easy to work with and Matt answered lots of questions I had as I wasn’t sure about what was actually needed. Supported me through the process and both he and Simon who came out to complete the service were amazing and cannot recommend them enough.

  Structural calculations

  Really disappointed in the end, communication was great, provided a quote, responded to queries. Never done this before so he took the time to talk through the process, got drawings done, application submitted and approved, but when I asked for the calculations price increase of 70%. Said now vat registered, fine but why not mention such a huge additional increase.

  We answered all questions, priced the job twice, and never charged anything. The customer got back to us after 6 months with an updated scope of work and expected the same price. In the meantime, we had registered for VAT, so this had to be added. Despite all our help throughout the process, we were left with a negative review.
