  New log burner installed and old fire removed

  Sam did a great job installing a new log burner and removing the old fire which was surrounded by cement filler. Great communication, hearth options recommended and stove choices, what to look for and which brands he recommends and even a discount code for a couple of websites. Special mention to Nicola, Sam’s wife who runs the operational side for answering loads of questions and being very thorough and helpful in organising everything. Sam was referred to me by local friends and I would definitely recommend his services now having work done

  Knowledgeable, professional and hard-working tradesman

  Couldn't be happier with the service and work we received. Sam is extremely knowledgeable and professional and helped us all the way from talking through the work and the things he could do at quote stage to helping us find the best price for our stove and then installing it. The job itself was a tricky one which involved removing a very heavy and very well secured oak mantle piece. Sam did this all in a day, shoring up the chimney breast afterwards and plastering over it, before getting to the stove install and tidying up afterwards. Can't recommend highly enough, such great work.

  Highly recommend Sam and Nicola. From our initial conversation to rip out an existing coal fire, to replacing with a new log burner, and beam. They have both been so professional and quick with responding. Sam did a fantastic job and is very clean in his work. We had an amazing new log burner in time for Christmas.

  Wood Burning Stove Installation

  We had a flue and wood burning stove fitted by STK. Sam and Nicola have been great from start to finish. From first getting in touch, the onsite survey, through to installation. Sam gave very helpful recommendations on stoves and best way to carry out the install (was into an existing fireplace). We're delighted with the quality of the work and Sam is extremely tidy during the install (furniture and floor covered up) and spotlessly cleans up afterwards. I have no hesitations of recommending STK. Great service and very competitive prices. My thanks to Sam and Nicola!

  Installation of new external flue, replacing chimney stack

  STK Stoves and Chimneys were super professional starting with a quick and clear quote for the work. They were happy to liaise with our roofing contractor to agree the right time to come complete the installation, to fit in with the overall project - which actually meant working on a Saturday. On-site they were efficient and very diligent in keeping things clean. Sam was happy to answer questions we had and proactive in photographing the work so we could see what had been done at roof level.

  Exceeded Expectations

  Sam and Nicola are a great team. Sam went through the process in detail making sure I understood the work involved. Upfront with costs and provided a detailed quote. Sam made sure to cover all furniture and flooring leaving my house clean after the install. Both Sam and Nicola offered me advice on which stoves would work for my space, which I was grateful for as I had no clue. Sam talked me through how to light the fire and made sure I was 100% happy with the installation before he left. I appreciated the follow up call from Nicola to ensure all was good. I highly recommend STK Stoves.
