  Replacement of soffits and guttering

  Squaredeal were recommended to me by two neighbours who had both used the company a few years previously. The quote was very reasonable to replace all the woodwork and fit new soffits, fascia and guttering, including down pipes. The workman turned up promptly on the day. The work was carried out efficiently and both workmen were very pleasant and polite. I would highly recommend this company.

  Foul and abusive language from the manager after questioning a delivery shortage.

  Had a delivery,driver said wrong amount sheets in front of a witness,when questioned he counted the sheets in the wrapper and I believed  his count only to come up short when we started to use them.My fault I should checked myself. But I did not expect foul and abusive language and being called a liar especially when I had a witness.I must thank them for the refund in small coinage.

  “We delivered 12 lengths of cladding to this customer for which he signed the delivery note. No mention was made of any shortages. 5 hours later after his builder had installed them, he phoned us complaining that he was 3 boards short, one of which we had apparently short delivered him, and demanding that we replace it free of charge. No mention was made of this on the delivery note or by any phone call until his builder had finished. I could understand if we had delivered 3 or 400 lengths which we often do, but for the customer to have checked before signing when we are only talking about 12 would have taken very little effort. I gave him the length free of charge as he wouldn’t stop going on about it on the phone even though I had no obligation to do this, and he still puts a comment like this on our website. On top of that our manager stayed on late to wait for him to turn up to collect his boards as he ran late due to traffic. This just sums up, that even when we have done nothing wrong, how disgusting consumers treat companies using the threat of social media”.

  Replacement of Facias, Soffits and Guttering on a terraced house.

  This is the second time we have used this company having previously used them 13 years ago. Another excellent installation with a competitive quote. Communication from their office on the dates of the installation and the erection and disassembly of scaffolding was faultless.

  Did Not Keep Their Word

  Used commercially - work completed was well done. Booked in May 21 to carry out work at home and did not turn up this week as expected. No communication at all. The admin side had already incorrectly booked a visit date too. Incredibly frustrating to say the least. Work with them cancelled now as admin and communication is appalling.

  Whilst I understand the frustration at the time delay in placing an order and the wait to have it fitted, this is due to the high demand of work that the whole of the building industry is experiencing. Unfortunately, yesterday our scaffolder was unable to make the booked appointment to erect the scaffolding due to delays with the weather earlier in the week. As soon as we were aware of this, we contacted the customer to explain this. I am firstly disappointed for him to say that there was no communication as there clearly was, and also that in this case there was absolutely no understanding or consideration on his behalf.

  Install James Hardie weatherboard cladding

  I can’t fault anything! Karen in the office was amazing with her prompt customer service, David who came to quote and inspect post job was polite and personable. And the installers did the job to a really high standard. All at a reasonable price. I’m very pleased! The cladding looks lovely.

  The quality of craftsmanship shown by Dean and David is nothing short of superb, the transformation of the exterior of our property using the Squaredeal supplied cladding and guttering products is way beyond our expectations, if I could possibly give the entire Squaredeal Team, both on site and at their Factory a score of more than 10, I would. From my initial communication and quote from Andrew and Marcus, the thorough survey by David, the liaison with Karen in their office, to the final installation and cleanliness shown by Dean and David, given that we are in Covid Pandemic was superb,
