Had a delivery,driver said wrong amount sheets in front of a witness,when questioned he counted the sheets in the wrapper and I believed
his count only to come up short when we started to use them.My fault I should checked myself. But I did not expect foul and abusive language and being called a liar especially when I had a witness.I must thank them for the refund in small coinage.

“We delivered 12 lengths of cladding to this customer for which he signed the delivery note. No mention was made of any shortages. 5 hours later after his builder had installed them, he phoned us complaining that he was 3 boards short, one of which we had apparently short delivered him, and demanding that we replace it free of charge. No mention was made of this on the delivery note or by any phone call until his builder had finished. I could understand if we had delivered 3 or 400 lengths which we often do, but for the customer to have checked before signing when we are only talking about 12 would have taken very little effort. I gave him the length free of charge as he wouldn’t stop going on about it on the phone even though I had no obligation to do this, and he still puts a comment like this on our website. On top of that our manager stayed on late to wait for him to turn up to collect his boards as he ran late due to traffic. This just sums up, that even when we have done nothing wrong, how disgusting consumers treat companies using the threat of social media”.
