I’m really pleased with the work carried out. From the first visit, they were friendly, professional, and took the time to explain the cause of the damp and the best solution. The work was completed exactly as promised, with great attention to detail, and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards. If you need help with damp, look no further. We had so many issues finding the right people until we came across Mark. They know everything there is to know about damp. Mark and Nick were amazing, I’ve been suffering with condensation and mould for years !! I had a piv fitted and thermal coating applied to the affected areas !! Mark and Nick were quick to come out and give us recommendations about how to fix our issues with very reasonable pricing. We were able to fix a convenient date within a couple of weeks which was great. On the day they were prompt and worked quickly. The standard of work was to excellent, they not only fixed the underlying damp issues but managed to make some of the more damaged areas look like new again. Job location: RH1Mark came to do a damp check on the property and provided both a damp proof and Vent Axia Wall Mounted PIV Unit quote. The latter was installed and a year later, the room is much dryer and the unit still working just fine.10 Replaster kitchen walls and ceiling

SST did an amazing job on my kitchen walls and ceiling in very short time, in preparation for upgrading the kitchen units. The old walls were patchy and uneven before we removed the old tiles and the Artexed ceiling was looking tired and cracked with a clumsy repair up where a pendant light fitting had been replaced with a tube light earlier. Now the walls are flat and true and the ceiling looks neat and tidy ready for redecorating. No more Artex, no more uneven joints and ceiling cracks, and no odd bit where a ceiling rose was replaced. Our approach starts with a survey undertaken by either Mark Stoner or Nicholas Stoner, this allows us to discover and identify the current problem you are experiencing.
(We can also diagnose issues you are experiencing by providing us with photos).
One of the issues we commonly find are other damp and remedial companies trying to make customers problems fit their range of solutions, unfortunately this approach often results in unnecessary remedial treatments and continued problems.
We offer our customers more than just standardize damp-proofing and timber treatment, for example we like to keep buildings as they should be and we are heritage lime plastering experts, modern gypsum plasters are one of the main causes of damp in older properties.
