  Excellent and Thoughtful service

  Southdowns Builders have just completed a project for us, extending our kitchen area by developingthe internal shape of our house. Mitch and his tradespeople were very helpful, very thoughtful in their approach. The team worked really hard to get us a functioning and comfortable kitchen for Christmas. Then completing the work in the New Year. They have beenh excellent to deal with and I would be happy to use them again, and recomend them to others.

  Integral renovation of the house.Top work by this team. 100% recommended. Mitch provides top service to client, always promptly responding to queries, available, accommodating and helpful. Great at communicating and to work with. Excellent work. We would certainly go with Mitch for any other job.

  House renovation

  We’ve had whole house renovated. Mitch is a top guy, 100% reliable and trustworthy. He keeps client service and communication at the very top. Never had to chase him for anything. Handles his team very efficiently and the team is great. Very happy with work and certainly would use him again.

  Two walls knocked down in a kitchen, 9m steel in, another wall knocked out 4m wide for bifolds

  Really great working with Mitch. A nice person to work with, very experienced and well connected with a range of subcontractors to carry out other parts of the project. He has a lot of builders working for him which meant the work could be done quickly and they can handle larger projects easily with the manpower capabilities. The job was done to a high standard, and the build control inspector very happy to sign it all off. Will be going straight to Mitch in future for any further building needs!

  Garage conversion

  Mitch and his team carried out an integral garage conversion for us. We went with South Downs based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. From the start his experience, and also familiarity with the houses on our estate, gave us real confidence. A couple of issues cropped up and Mitch was able to quickly provide a solution on each occasion . We would certainly use South Downs again.
