I asked Mitch to replace some tired old concrete paving at the front of my property with some Indian Sandstone. It was a professional and well executed job and the price was good. I am delighted with the end result and would have no hesitation in using Southdowns again or recommending them. It’s a family run business and they take pride in their work and leave a high quality result. The cost was very reasonable and the fact Mitch could squeeze me in at relatively short notice was a real bonus.

Mitch and company were fantastic throughout. Work was carried out to a high standard, and wherever possible he tried to minimise costs without compromise on finish. With a young family, they ensured site and house were clean at the end of everyday, and were really considerate throughout. We really couldnt have asked for more from them. We would use again, and recommend to anyone without hesitation. Some teething issues from architectural design to build, Mitch aided throughout, with a pragmatic and helpful approach- which was greatly appreciated as none of that was his fault.

Mitch and his team were great, always turned up when they said they would, always clean the site before the end of the day, lads were polite and Mitch did his best to help us save money with different ideas and suggestions.

I engaged South Downs Builders to build a single storey extension, incorporating a new kitchen, laundry and cloakroom. The whole Project was well run and managed. Communication between the Builder and Trades was excellent. I always knew what was happening, deliveries arriving, other Trades arriving etc. Access to my property is shared, at all times my neighbours were kept informed of deliveries. My neighbours commented on the courtesy of every one involved. I lived in the property during the Project. Each evening the site, inside and outside was left tidy and secure.
