Booked Slough HomePro Ltd for £150 deep clean. Returned to find fresh black chemical stains on 1-yr-old oak worktop. When confronted, they claimed stains were pre-existing and showed me products they “used” - but hid oven cleaner. After they left, I discovered bin bag full of paper towels soaked in oven-cleaner residue matching the stains. They offered no meaningful solution, only £10 deduction and £10 stain remover, even though a professional repair is required. Because of the damage, I withheld payment, and they have since refused compensation. Unprofessional, dishonest, and careless.

We dispute this review. The cleaning service was carried out professionally and the job was stopped early at the customer’s request. No damage was caused by our team.
The £150 invoice remains unpaid. The customer claimed £50. Without accepting liability, we agreed to this as a goodwill gesture to resolve the matter. This was refused and the customer demanded a further £50 while withholding payment.
There is an ongoing unresolved dispute. No independent finding has established fault. We are pursuing recovery through the appropriate legal process.
