10 Reliable service for water softeners and water filters

Richard was incredibly helpful and professional when taking out my old water softener and replacing it with a new one. He was also swift and skilled at fixing a blockage and replacing valves and pipework. He has also replaced the filters in my water filter. He was very clear with explaining what he had done and how to maintain the products. Job location: HP6Supplied, installed and commissioned a new water softener. Also removed and disposed of the (very) old unit. Silkflow were professional, courteous and efficient throughout the process. A very professional, informative and helpful response was given by everyone I dealt with at Silkflow, especially Richard who removed an old water softener and replaced with a new one, taking time to answer any questions I had. We supply and deliver block salt, tablet salt and granular salt as well as supplying and fitting a wide range of filter cartridges and taps for drinking water systems.

A question we are regularly asked is "what is the difference between a water softener and a water filter?" Water filtering typically refers to drinking water, whereas a water softener eliminates limescale from the incoming water supply.
