I’ve worked with Steven now for a few years on a scale of project type and. He is punctual, knowledgable and takes pride in his work. He’s eager to get involved in the wider picture, especially anticipating problems further down the line and being able to think his way into complex and fiddly details. We don’t typically build run-of-the-mill projects, we win our contracts because of our attention to detail and an ability to overcome what most builders won’t care for. Steven fits right in, and carries this ethos across his own projects too. Certainly a rare find and a valuable contact.

We selected this company to convert our integral garage into a music room. This included building a new external wall with a window, replacing the floor, installing stud walls, lighting and heating, plastering and decorating. Steven, who did most of the work, apart from the electrics and flooring, is an excellent general purpose builder. We were pleased with the result, and have no hesitation in recommending Steven for similar building projects.

Davey Construction subcontracted the work; they were busy on the day. I'd booked the work months in advance. Workmen came unprepared; I lent them my ladder. The issue wasn't as bad as thought and they gave me some advice. They seemed to fill the cracks. Was charged £200. I pointed out the work wasn't as much as initially thought, so was then charged £100. A week later, a roofer came round and noticed that the cracks hadn't been chased enough and the material was easily brushed away. Roofers asked if I did it and ended up redoing the cracks. I messaged Davey Construction who have not responded.

Very heppy with the work, would recommend. Build our new garage from foundation to roof.

Steven, Josh and Carl were amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they really listened to what I wanted. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough and plan to have them back for more work in the future! Thank you!
