  This is the second time in two years we have used them.On both occasions we have found them very responsive to our requests.Their work has been to a good standard,everything kept clean & tidy by the end of each day.The cost was reasonable & the folk doing the work were timely,polite & very hard working.Would be happy to recommend & use again.

  Chimney rebuild and renovation.

  Oathie and his team were friendly and professional and rebuilt my chimney stack promptly over a three day period so that it is now good for the future and with a 12 month guarantee. Oathie is very knowledgeable and kept me informed of what work was required at each stage of the job.   Alfie from S&S Home Improvements (York) is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to roof repairs & very easy to deal with. He turned up when expected & communicated what work was needed. The quality of workmanship was excellent. Work comes with a 12 month guarantee which is reassuring. I would highly recommend S&S Home Improvements especially as it a family run local business.

  Alfie and team were very professional and easy to deal with. Explained everything well, gave me clear options as they completed the work and everything was finished quickly and to high standards.   Roof and chimney repairs

  Very quick response to the initial call, came and looked at the potential issues with our roof and chimney, made a short video of the issues and gave a very competitive quote, with no obligation or pressure. Came and started quickly on the work, with regular updates on how the work was progressing, and with a nice group of people undertaking the repairs. Finished job looks excellent, would definitely recommend Oathie and team

  Efficient, quality service

  Oathie and the team did a great job replacing our broken/missing roof tiles. The price was fair and the job was completed very efficiently, with everything tidied up afterwards. I would not hesitate to use S&S Home Improvements again and would recommend to anyone.
