  We brought Rob back to build a garden room/studio for us off the back of the good work he did renovating our house. He was consultative as ever throughout the process - offering advice where needed whilst taking our priorities into account. We worked together with him to figure out the best approach. He delivered a great building at a great price - very happy and would absolutely recommend

  Full bedroom renovation

  Rob and his team did an amazing job. Communication was clear and simple from first contact, which allowed us to move on with the job very quickly. Rob and his team were super friendly and professional. Everyone took a great care during and after the job to ensure all was done to a very high standard and that everything was clean afterwards. There were a few unforeseen issues during the renovation work, but Rob took them promptly keeping it to budget and timeline. We would definitely recommend RTC and we would be happy to work with them again.

  Kitchen installation and removal of old kitchen

  Rob surveyed the works and was very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions of how best to proceed. We agreed a plan of removing our old kitchen and existing wall, and opening up to create a kitchen/diner with new kitchen, electrical sockets as well as plastering and painting works. The works were carried out to a high standard, and we were very pleased with the final installation. There was a high level of communication throughout the job and the team were very neat and tidy when working around the property.

  Converting Garage to Utility

  The standard of the work was excellent - Harvey did a great job. Managing the various trades went smoothly. What did not go so well was clear communication on how changes that are inevitable as part of the work affected the estimate. My expectation was that changes would be discussed and agreed during the work but that did not happen. Short version is that I ended up paying £240 for someone to drill a hole in the garage wall when this was quoted to included building under floor ducting. A good job spoilt by Rob seeming to care more about a small amount of cash than the customer.

  Single storey extension, patio & path and internal refurbishments.

  From that 1st meeting to discuss the works we felt totally at ease with Rob, he’s a lovely guy who knows his business. The quote came through promptly & within our budget. Rob is an excellent communicator and I believe this is so important when undertaking work like this. It’s not just Rob who is great his team are also brilliant & so professional & conscientious in all that they do, Danny, Harvey, Jensen & Charlie. Standard of work is exceptional and a keen eye on the costs between Rob and ourselves has helped matters. Will post again when work is complete but I can’t recommend RTC enough.

  Remove fireplace

  I was recommended to Rob of RTC Building and used his company to remove a fireplace which was carried out quickly and to my full satisfaction. I would not hesitate to use RTC again in the future.
