Richard is a 'plumbing detective '. He will systematically go through possible causes of a problem with great patience. He was able to flush out some grit in an incoming main water pipe after outside work by the water board. Richard is courteous, friendly and professional. He is extremely knowledgeable and always explains step by step what the jobs entail. He has carried out several plumbing repair/ installations for us over the last few years, most recently a replacement kitchen tap, fixing a plunge plug and repairing another tap. Richard has done several jobs for myself and my parents and I could not recommend him highly enough. He recently fitted a new shower which I am thrilled with. Richard arrived on time and spent a long time saving our ancient, but decorative WC rather than replace the whole thing. He is clearly a very experienced plumber and had to work with a cistern that is probably 80+ years old. He did a very good job and everything is working fine again now.
