    Martin identified the problem and then offered a solution. Paul and Harry, who were nice guys, turned up on time went about their work quickly and efficiently and cleared up after themselves.

    Repair to damp patches around fireplace in lounge

    I approached Martin in connection with damp patches which had appeared around the fireplace in the lounge. He inspected the property inside and out and was able to diagnose the issue namely penetrative damp and proposed a recommended course of action. The recommended work was carried by Martin’s team and I was extremely pleased with the quality and the end result. Any questions were answered with the whole process explained and after the work was completed everywhere was left clean and tidy. Martin is extremely knowledgeable and definitely to be recommended.

Hello. My name's Martin. I have been in the building industry for 40 years. I have worked for myself for 35 of those and am still going strong. We specialise in damp proofing, rising damp, penetrating damp & ventilation on old and modern property's. We are TRI-CREAM advanced D.P.C Injection System Approved.

Refresh Property Damp Proofing Specialise in:

  • Wet rot: under floor voids and all timber supports.
  • Wood Worm: Any effected arrears in the timber we spray, or we can remove & replace infected arrears.
  • Dry Rot: This can be found in floors, ceilings & roof timbers.
  • Rising Damp: Signs to look out for Tide marks on the walls, cracked flaking plaster, peeling wallpaper or paint.
  • Black Mould: This can be signs of bad venting in the roof, soffits & walls and can be a Health Hazard.
  • Penetrating Damp: This occurs when rendering is cracked or brick work pointing has perished.
  • Roof & chimney Damp: Lead Flashing emplacement, render or brick work repairs & Venting.
  • Drainage prevents damp: We supply & install upvc drainage & French drains.
  • Damp Course injecting systems & water proofing coating systems.
