  Complete kitchen refurb, downstairs flooring refit and knocking out a porch wall

  I’m very glad I chose R1K Solutions for my kitchen project. Rick is friendly, approachable, and easy to have around. He communicated well throughout, answered questions, and put me at ease. He went the extra mile, taking on additional work and finishing touches with pride. Pricing was fair and flexible, and he handled concerns professionally. Reliable and hardworking, he often stayed late and offered helpful advice. Despite a few minor delays, he was proactive in resolving issues. I’m very happy with the result and would gladly recommend him and hire him again in future.

  Replacement of external door, repairs to door frame. New lock, rain guard and repainted.

  After overcoming some internet issues we established good communication. Rik always kept us updated as to progress and any issues. Standard of work was excellent and never needed questioning by myself. I highly recommend Rik.

  Ricky from R1K was riendly, punctual and communication was easy. He replaced 1 internal door and also replaced a lock on a second door. He did the work in a timely manner and cleaned up once the job was completed. Reasonable priced as well.

  Kitchen Upgrade

  AVOID THIS COMPANY!! DO NOT USE!! Dishonest, disorganised and unprofessional. They failed to follow clear instructions and the tiling was completed incorrectly, which they later admitted. They offered only a £150 reduction and even suggested charging extra to fix their own mistake. They also added an unagreed £30 charge and are now refusing to honour the £150 reduction previously offered. Despite our efforts to resolve things fairly, they have remained inflexible and are now threatening court action. Completely unacceptable from start to finish — AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

  Hi Tom, we do not accept the inaccuracies in your review. This matter was also raised through Checkatrade and reviewed, but no resolution was reached. The issue raised was the orientation of the tiling, not the quality of the workmanship. The tiling was completed in line with the revised estimate accepted in writing before the works went ahead. We made reasonable offers to resolve the matter, which were not accepted.
