  Fireplace Surround and Skirtings

  I found Phil through his website & Check a Trade. I wanted a bespoke fire surround and had been struggling to complete my fireplace project. With Phil's advice I finally got the project moving. I gave Phil a picture of a fire surround and what he made me was even better. Phil fitted it plus skirtings and made a lovely job of both. I would recommend Phil and if I have projects in the future needing carpentry skills, I will be calling on him. He was very courteous, professional, fair pricing and a quick service. Excellent.

  Replacement of staircase balustrades

  Phil, removed the old pine balustrades and replaced them with oak balustrades. The work was carried out to the highest standards and we are very pleased. Highly recommend Phil

  Phil is a great person to deal with. He was quick to reply to my request and to estimate for the work. He also offered suggestions as it wasn't a straightforward job. He is a clean and tidy worker and courteous. I would have no hesitation in recommending.
