Phil is absolutely brilliant carpenter, this is the second time we have used him. He is friendly, reliable and above all a superior craftsman. He built a frame to support acoustic panelling, and a 64 inch TV. He arrived early and on-time and was brilliant. his work superb. He did not make any mess, cleared all remaining wood and panelling. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending Phil and his work is high quality and exceptional value for money.

I asked Phil to install some shelves for my record/book collection. He designed an excellent system which is perfect for the room, built it expertly and installed it perfectly and without fuss. For a very fair price. Great attention to detail. He even put a rather heavy picture on the wall for me. Phil came via a personal recommendation and I would also recommend him wholeheartedly.

Frame constructed to fit perfectly to pre- existing window allow installation of new stain glass. Template provided that was passed to stain glass artisans to ensure accuracy. Complete removal of rotten sections on hard wood conservatory and replaced with new hardwood with exact matching features. Sill corners had rot cut out and exact matching hardwood spliced in. All to a very skilled and accurate match.

Phil has carried out quite a few jobs for us now, and is always our 'go to' carpenter. Standard and quality of work is excellent, Phil is friendly and reliable, we wouldn't use anybody else!! Latest job we've had done by Phil was to install 5 new internal doors and we're extremely happy with everything.

I posted my job on Checkatrade and, amongst others, it went to Phil who made my fire surround. He said he could help, which was a great relief as I was struggling to find anyone who could assist with sealing off my chimney to stop soot/debris falling into the hearth. Phil made and fitted the section - compete with air vent and fully removable. It was another excellent job, very neat even though it can't be seen. Phil is very prompt, courteous & professional with a high attention to detail. I would highly recommend him.
