Phil is a pleasure to work with. Straight away understood what I wanted and had ideas on how to do it. Had helpful practical suggestions when I needed them. He then quickly took all the measurements and was ready even before the estimated date. On the day arrived on time and built our superb bookcase in no time! Was really lovely throughout and I have already recommended him to all my friends.

I called on Phil for the third time this year, on this occasion to replace my unsafe and unsightly loft hatch. Once again, he did outstanding work, fitting draught excluder all round the hatch and using fixings which aren't visible from below. He also did some boxing in (plus skirting) in my lounge to hide unsightly pipes. The attention to detail and quality of Phil's work is outstanding. Phil is very professional, approachable, prompt and fairly priced. I cannot recommend Phil highly enough. He is an excellent craftsman.

I've used Phil a couple of times now, firstly to fit a bannister and most recently, he installed under stair storage and rehung/framed a set of trifold doors. Every piece of work Phil completes is to a fantastic standard and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Very reasonably priced and the work is completed in a clean and timely manner - did a lot of the preparation work for the under stairs storage away from the house and so he was able to install this very quickly. Will be using Phil for future carpentry needs - thank you Phil

Phil is absolutely brilliant carpenter, this is the second time we have used him. He is friendly, reliable and above all a superior craftsman. He built a frame to support acoustic panelling, and a 64 inch TV. He arrived early and on-time and was brilliant. his work superb. He did not make any mess, cleared all remaining wood and panelling. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending Phil and his work is high quality and exceptional value for money.

I asked Phil to install some shelves for my record/book collection. He designed an excellent system which is perfect for the room, built it expertly and installed it perfectly and without fuss. For a very fair price. Great attention to detail. He even put a rather heavy picture on the wall for me. Phil came via a personal recommendation and I would also recommend him wholeheartedly.
