  Wall knockdown and fireplace

  Martin was incredibly helpful and professional removign a wall between kitchen and dinign room, and also restoring a fireplace is a different room. He clearly has a great deal of experience and I'll defintely be contacting him again for any other building work I need to go ahead with

  Excellent work

  We have used Martin for several jobs before and always been extremely happy. We recently engaged Martin to remove old wooden cladding, add insulation and add new cladding. He carried out these works with excellent skill and as unfortunately our house is not built very square Martin had a number of challenges to overcome. He kept us updated throughout the works and we are really pleased with the finished product.

  Extending block-paved driveway

  Having hired Martin previously for underpinning our extension I had no hesitation in asking him to double the width of our block-paved driveway. Once again I am extremely pleased with the results, it looks fantastic. As well as being a clean and tidy builder, Martin was open to adapting the design so that the end result was exactly what we were looking for. As we have plans for further works for the property we will definitely be contacting Martin and Pentland Building and Groundworks again.

  Underpinning Extension

  Block paving, patio extension and garden cabin build

  We hired Martin for block paving, a patio extension, and a garden cabin build. The work was completed to a high standard and with clear communication throughout. He’s friendly, approachable - easy to have around and clearly takes pride in doing things properly. We’re very pleased with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
