  Block paving, patio extension and garden cabin build

  We hired Martin for block paving, a patio extension, and a garden cabin build. The work was completed to a high standard and with clear communication throughout. He’s friendly, approachable - easy to have around and clearly takes pride in doing things properly. We’re very pleased with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

  Paving and sheds

  Martin did an absolutely fantastic job laying my new patio and putting up two sheds for me, complete with concrete bases. He was always punctual, friendly and polite, and worked very hard to make sure the project came in on time, on budget and to a very high standard. I particularly liked his attention to detail, making sure I was happy at all points with the work and with the end product. He came highly recommended from a friend and certainly lived up to my expectations. In turn, I wholeheartedly recommend him also. He deservedly scores 10 out of 10 on all parts.

  New front garden wall and landscaping

  We're absolutely delighted with the new wall and it was so easy to work with Martin/Pentland. It's not the first time that he has helped us with work on the house, and he's extremely reliable, efficient and has been so kind and patient with our two children, who are very curious and enjoyed 'helping'.   Foundation, support, brickwork and patio remediation.

  Our experience with Martin/Pentland was excellent - the work was efficiently carried out when promised and in good time. He utilised his knowledge and experience to install a much improved foundation and supporting pillar with brickwork surround for the roof of a veranda as well as relaying the patio slabs that had also become uneven due to the settlement the original foundation had caused. The end result is excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending Martin and using myself in the future.

  Garage conversion to room

  Work to insulate and dry line a garage to provide a room. Martin is a pleasure to deal with providing a clear quotation and fully explains the work he doing as it progressed. The job was completed on time and to budget creating a room ready for decorating.
