  Removal of dead hedge and replaced with fencing.

  The removal of the dead hedge was not an easy job but any difficulties, including getting access to the site with a mini digger, were overcome in a professional manner. The end result is a great improvement. The quoted price included for extensive repairs to a side fence, removal of two sheds and making a concrete hard standing.

  To complete all foundations and brickwork for rear extension and fitting of steel beams

  PB Groundworks completed all of the foundations and brickwork to extension. Phil and Tyler and hard workers and extremely polite and easy to talk to. The work was millimetre perfect! They also prepared and fitted many steel beams inside along with remove the whole of the rear on the bungalow. Top marks and thank you. Look forward to having you back. Thanks again

  Ground levelling

  PB Groundworks did an excellent job for me. Relatively simple project to clear and level site, install subbase and top dressing for a driveway, and install fence along the edge. All done to a good standard.

  PB Groundworks carried out a job which required careful planning and execution and they performed extremely well. The job was done on time and within budget. Phil and Tyler were a pleasure to work with and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Company to prospective customers.

  Construction of equestrian arena

  Due to weather conditions the build of the arena was delayed, leading to PB Groundworks asking for a considerable extra payment which could not be found. The work was left half done. On obtaining two quotes from arena building companies it was discovered that the work carried out was so inadequate that the whole build needed starting again at great cost to myself. Communication with this company was unprofessional and rude, I would not recommend PB Groundworks for equestrian areas.

  We always provide an estimate, not a quote. We started work, and due to difficult access conditions/weather, supplier lorries were unable to reach the sight safely, thus delaying the timeline of the job. We advised the client immediately and took a different approach to get materials to the site, which took more time. We advised the client immediately of the extra cost, but were told the estimated cost was the budget, regretfully we had to pull off the site. The client contacted us via email, and said that we had not carried out the work correctly, and that we should pay back the deposit money that had already been accounted for on materials, plant and labour, in fact the deposit paid did not cover the final cost, and we suffered a significant loss. We had carried out approximately 30% of this work, and therefore the job was in no way finished, so could not be criticised. Finally, the client found our services on Checkatrade and used us due to our reviews. We have been carrying this type of work out for over 30 years, and have never had a bad review either via Checkatrade or otherwise.

  Fence replacement

  Great service, installed new fencing in my garden and took out the old fence. The new fence looks lovely. Would recommend and would definitely use again
