  Friendly trustworthy tiler

  Paul has tiled my downstairs floor tiles which were rather large 1.2m and my bathrooms. He is super friendly and chatty and as with all trades give very clear instructions and you’ll get a great job. Very trustworthy. I’d use him again.

  Hallway marble flooring

  Paul James is an excellent tiler who came at a time when our previously tiled floor started showing signs of subfloor movement due to the fact that none of the regulations were met during tiling by our incompetent builders. Paul's spot on diagnosis, preparation of the floor and subsequent tiling was exceptional. It has been 2 years since and it still looks beautiful. Paul's calm, diligent, positive and mature personality took a lot of stress away from us at the time. I highly recommend Paul James as I know that any work he takes on board, he will finish to perfection.

  Paul was amazing, his work was so precise and completed to perfection. He was reliable and solved some floor issues that arose during the job. I can’t recommend him enough. His work was 10 out 10 and his price was reasonable.

  Tiling of 3 bathrooms and kitchen up-stand of a new build high end barn

  Left grouting unfinished, cracked tiles and refused to come back and finish the job, numerous ignored calls, texts and emails! Not the greatest standard of work that’s was actually carried out. Joints not matching etc etc

  High end barn conversion lol, with the cheapest and worst tiles I've worked with,in spite of that I did a very good job and was very tidy as the pictures show, l put all rubbish in the skip and swept all of upstairs and left it tidier than when I arrived,I was always there when I said I would be and was actually turned away twice because of winds!!! And had to leave because of lost power,I still stuck to the original price that I gave, and also helped put a staircase in place! Despite all the messing around I finished and got paid with no quibbles, didn't tile upstand as I didn't price for it nor was the kitchen in, these high end jobs need silicon in all right angles and the cracked tile was down to movement that you told me about, would have gladly gone back if he would have paid me to do so as an extra,
