  Not the firm it once may have been!!!

  I chose this company because it had very high reviews. However in spite of paying £2000, for the reupholstering of my sofa, I was shocked by the almost criminal level of workmanship. Not to mention the criminal level of quality control (or rather the lack of). I for one would never want this firm to ever come anywhere near any of my furniture again. I feel that in the interest of profit, this firm is now using disgruntled employees and John who I believe runs the firm does not care about the quality of workmanship. You have been warned (dated 10th-February-2026).

  They refurbished springs and webbing in one sofa and refilled all the cushions. Much more comfortable and saved buying new sofas

  Re-upholster dining room chairs

  Mr Bailey of P & B Furnishing phoned me as a result of my contacting Checkatrade & quoted a fair price for the repair work I required. He came the following day with a selection of possible cover material from which we selected what we wanted, he then took the chairs to his workshop for re-upholstering. He returned them 4 days later fully complete to our satisfaction. We found Mr Baily both friendly & very helpful. I can recommend his company to anyone needing similar work to be done.

  Tub chair reupholstery

  I had been looking for a reupholstery company for some time to update a chair we have had for 20 years. So lucky to have found John Bailey. He arranged to have fabric samples sent, and he collected and delivered the chair back personally. Efficient and polite throughout. An excellent service would highly recommend.
