  treating floorboards to prevent dryrot

  Concerned that damaged floor boards might have dry rot. Olton Property Services came and inspected them and reassured me that it wasnt dry rot. He agreed to treat the floorboards anyway just to make sure.

  Great company , told them I needed a survey doing asap, they went out there way to get me in a few days earlier 👍 Once survey was completed I had the report back within a few days . Would definitely recorded these guys

  Had an initial consultation with Chris who was knowledgeable, helpful and most-importantly, not pushy. Provided 2 different quote options, competitively priced and we opted to proceed. Work commenced quickly and Leo & Leon were friendly, skilled and communicative about the job which was useful.   Air Brick replacement.

  We had a nasty fungus growing out of one of our air bricks. No idea how this only affected 1 as there are 3 other air bricks on that side of the house. I contacted various companies through checkatrade only 2 wanted the work and I settled on olton damp proofing. They came out inspected the job, quoted (which was accepted) and on the 30/10/25 completed the job. The lads were courteous and friendly, they kept me up to date with what work they were carrying out and have done an excellent job.

  Timber and damp survey for house purchase

  We needed a timber and damp survey carried out before the purchase of a new house, Chris went above and beyond to accommodate what we needed. Extremely happy with the service and actually carried out far more inspections than we expected. Would highly recommend.

  Chris was really helpful in the initial consultation, clearly explaining the best plan to resolve the rising damp in my bedroom. Leo, who carried out the work, was excellent—friendly, efficient, and kept me updated throughout. The plastering has a really good finish, and he took care to minimise mess by laying down plastic protection in the work areas and hallway. He cleaned up thoroughly once the job was done and even removed all the rubbish. Professional, reliable, and great workmanship—I would definitely recommend them.
