  I had an entirely new staircase fitted

  my experience of Oakwood has been amazing. I had an entirely new staircase fitted which required a cupboard taking out upstairs and the stairs reorientated. Chris was very efficient, very quick at getting back to me. Very happy to answer all of my questions and was good at adapting if I wanted anything changed. He also spoke through the options really clearly. I am incredibly pleased with my new staircase and wouldn't hesitate to use Oakwood carpentry again .

  Absolute gem!

  I sent the job out and Chris was prompt to respond. He came out to survey the works needed and put together a very comprehensive quote, which we duly accepted. Chris renovated our staircase, boxed in some pipes, built an understairs cupboard and fixed squeaky floorboards...I can not tell you how happy we are with Chris. Firstly, a great chap, but his attention to detail is another level, not to mention his forward thinking. Exceptionally tidy and literally wouldn't know he was here, what a find!! Literally can not fault anything, 100% recommend.

  Handrail/skirting

  Really pleased with Oakwood Carpentry Services. Chris was able to come out over the Christmas period and secure a handrail issue we had with our staircase. Also had chris do skirting in two rooms at the start of this year and are very pleased with his workmanship. Will be using his services again in the future. 10/10

  Top quality carpentry - highly recommend

  We had a new staircase and understairs cupboard/reading nook installed. We have been very impressed with Chris’s standard, and his duty of care. The staircase looks amazing and the storage work underneath is brilliant. Chris helped us make good choices with the materials we ended up going with, and kept us informed throughout the work. I find it hard to trust some trades after work I’ve had done before, but Chris is definitely someone you can put that trust in. Also - he made sure to put down floor protection etc and was very clean! Will use again anytime!

  Install of new Oak and Glass Bannister

  I am extremely pleased with the new Oak and Glass stair bannister that was installed by Oakwood Carpentry. It looks fantastic! Chris from Oakwood was very helpful and also very flexible with arranging a time to do the work. The workmanship is excellent and I would thorougly recommend this company to anyone else.
