We had a new staircase and understairs cupboard/reading nook installed. We have been very impressed with Chris’s standard, and his duty of care. The staircase looks amazing and the storage work underneath is brilliant. Chris helped us make good choices with the materials we ended up going with, and kept us informed throughout the work. I find it hard to trust some trades after work I’ve had done before, but Chris is definitely someone you can put that trust in. Also - he made sure to put down floor protection etc and was very clean! Will use again anytime!

I am extremely pleased with the new Oak and Glass stair bannister that was installed by Oakwood Carpentry. It looks fantastic! Chris from Oakwood was very helpful and also very flexible with arranging a time to do the work. The workmanship is excellent and I would thorougly recommend this company to anyone else.

We needed a staircase refurb, handrails, posts, spindles. During my quotation I found Chris to be very thoughtful about what was needing to be done, also respectful as to my preferences, he explained how some difficulties could be overcome. The outcome of the quote was very reasonable. When work was started Chris was very clean and tidy, the work was carried out very professionally. My wife and I were thrilled with the outcome.

Right from the initial contact, Chris was professional, provided good guidance regarding materials and finish. He quoted promptly and gave regular updates about his availability. On the day of the fitting he worked solidly with great attention to detail. When finished left everything tidy. Lovely work. Would recommend.
