  Supply of Electric Fire

  I paid for an electric fire on 22nd May 2024 to secure the price. Northern Stoves was to store the fire until we were ready for delivery. In September, when ready, we was informed that there was a slight issue with the delivery of the fire. This was a surprise as Northern Stoves should have bought and received the fire months earlier. I have recently bought and taken delivery of the same fire without any issues. Despite a refund of £3431 being agreed we still await our money without any indication of the timescales of when this will be paid. Be careful when dealing with this business.

  2x stove installation

  Could not recommend northern stoves enough! Paul and his team did a fantastic job! They removed our old dated fireplaces and fit new stoves. One of the fireplaces had not been installed properly previously and caused some issues but they made the discovery of an original fireplace and gave us some options to keep this while keeping the cost as minimal as possible. They were tidy, on time and polite. They even fed our cat while we were out! Nicola who deals with the admin is always prompt to reply and helpful. She's also very knowledgeable and gave some good advice about the stoves. 10/10

  Replacement multifuel stove

  After reading reviews for Northern Stoves, I inquiring about repairing my old stove. Paul came out to assess our Hunter, pipework and flue liner and give an estimate. His price was quite fair, but after some discussion about efficiency and the age of our Hunter, we decided to have a new stove. Paul and Nicola worked with us to obtain a stove of our choice, fitted yesterday. It's a lovely job and the heat emitted during the testing was amazing. Bring on winter! The team protected all furnishings and floor and cleaned up beautifully afterwards. I highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks.
