  Painting and repairs front of house, re-roof shed

  Chris and the roofer he brought on board did a great job making the front of our house look fabulous and in re-roofing our shed with a tin roof to make it watertight. They are tidy, reliable and personable with excellent communication. Highly recommend.

  Replacement Kitchen Drawer & Lighting

  Chris was exactly as described in all the 10/10 reviews which I read before trying out his services. Chris arrived as arranged; work was completed to a good standard and he was very courteous. There was a small problem with the settings on an outside light which when I contacted Chris to discuss he immediately arranged to come back and sort - light now working and it was just a small adjustment needed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chris and am already looking at other jobs which he can complete for me in the New Year. Thank you Chris you were a pleasure to deal with.

  Excellent handyman services, highly recommend

  Chris came to us for a full day of handyman jobs, as we had recently moved to our property (mainly putting up lots of pictures on the wall). He arrived on time and worked incredibly hard and efficiently at all the jobs. He went the extra mile (helping with ad hoc extras that he could see needed doing, such as fixing a broken drawer under the bathroom sink). I found him incredibly professional and great value for money. He even stayed a little late to finish putting up our baby’s high chair but didn’t charge me any extra. I highly recommend him, and will be using him for all our future jobs!

  I needed a door opened

  Absolutely rubbish and a waste of time. Called this guy out to open an internal door, gives it all the chat. Takes door handle off creates scuffs and marks and can’t opened the door. Doesn’t bother to refit the handle and just leaves saying I can’t fix it - what a waste of time!! I wouldn’t call him again - be careful when choosing him as he says “yes” to doing a job and can’t do it and leaves stuff worse then before.

  I Received a request for help from the customer as he was locked out of his bathroom. I had a full days list of jobs but It sounded urgent so I moved jobs around to be able to go there same day. I finished a job in Watford and travelled back to Hemel Hempstead . The door was locked shut. I took the cover plate off and the handle was cracked. The door would not open so I removed the damaged handle and turned the spindle but the mechanism was broken and wouldn't release the latch. I called the customer upstairs and explained that by proceeding there was a risk that the door and frame would be damaged and I didn't want to cause damage. He agreed and I suggested the best thing would be for him to call a locksmith. I said there is NO CHARGE as I had not been able to fix the problem despite trying my best for half an hour. I explained that there was no point putting the broken handle back on and he agreed with everything I said and at no point did he complain to me about anything.

  I've used Chris on a number of occasions. He's always proved to be very reliable, does a good job, and charges fairly. I can definitely recommend him.
