  Connect a sink and tap in our utility room

  We thought it was going to be complicated but George was in and out very quickly. Neat and tidy and even rearranged our washing machine pipes so our washing machine could be moved back which wasn’t part of his remit - so over and above what was asked.

  Central heating installation

  Great job completed to bring our antiquated central heating system into the 21st century, including new gas boiler & aquair fitted to the old hot air system. We were always happy to have George around - and would not say that about some others we've had working in our home! All done exactly as quoted and on time, including a couple of special requirements that came up during the installation.

  Boiler Annual Service and Installation

  Mulgas installed our new heating system in 2019 and have serviced our boiler each year since then, including just now. They are professional, reliable, and actually do a thorough service (unlike others we have had in the past). Steve in particular is fantastic. Would thoroughly recommend.

  Heating not working

  Simple: don't use them if you don't want to be left after nearly 1000£ still without heating, shocking, engineers guessing what to do, our tenant described them as clueless!! charging parts worth 10£ 150£. They are not interested in fixing it but returning so they can continue on charging you each time, shocking THEY VISITED 4 TIMES AND STILL NO HEATING they even quoted for job meant to be done did not do it still charged for it and send another quote to return to carry that job. Engineer spent time talking on th phone as he did not what to they call it labour and charged hour!!!

  Anyone reading this will see this review is inconsistent with our reviews. This is because virtually all our reviews are very good. This doesn't happen easily and we strongly believe its because we are very good at what we do and work very had to satisfy customers. Some faults are difficult some easier and we never know which we'll be dealing with until after the event. When the fault is difficult it's not always possible to diagnose in one or two visits especially when the fault is intermittent and not present on our visits, like in this case. We've been clear & transparent with our customer about the intermittent nature of the fault and it not being present and therefore made clear we are estimating for the most likely cause with the knowledge it could need a further visits & parts. We've also only ever gone ahead with any work once the land lord has accepted our estimate. The boiler has also always been working on our arrival plus working when we've left, this is the nature of intermittent faults. We strongly dispute this review.

  Christmas Eve boiler breakdown

  We were in a panic on Christmas Eve morning when we saw the central heating boiler had broken down despite only 3 years old and regular servicing by another company. A lovely lady answered the phone and arranged for Antonio to come out a few hours later. He was clearly an expert, quickly found the fault and was able to do a workaround to get the system up and running pending a proper repair in the new year. Antonio was a very clean, tidy, helpful and professional engineer and we're most grateful to him and his colleagues for saving the day - and at a very reasonable cost.
