  Fixing faulty toilet

  Matthew and Jack once again came to the rescue to fix a faulty toilet. He told me the price on arrival and fixed it there and then. We’ve used MPD for years now and cannot recommend enough. Thanks for such a quick response lads and resolving the issue so promptly.

  Unreasonably high costs and billed of work that was not completed

  During normal business hours, MPD Plumbing and Heating repaired a weeping radiator valve and pipe. Despite repeated asking, Matt (owner) refused to give a quote beforehand or during the time on site Moreover, we have photographs that show that some billed work was not completed, yet we were billed for it. We were a vulnerable customer at the time of the works.

  We want to start by saying we are extremely upset by this review as it's a total defamation of my character as a businessman and person. You were not refused a quote, we agreed to come and look at the job as you wanted it fixed immediately and then take it from there. Without seeing it we would not be able to give a price and we certainly don't just provide prices over the phone without seeing what work is entailed. We told you our hourly rate before commencing with the work hence being at your property for 5.5 hours. We completed all the work as per our paid invoice along with some additional work. You've also stated you were a vulnerable customer. I believe your wife was pregnant but was also not even at the property whilst I was there. We pride ourselves on the highest quality of work so we are unsure why it has taken nearly two years for this to come about. We have offered to call you but you have refused that request.

  Replacement of pipe

  Really good experience - quick to reply to messages and explained everything clearly. Suggested a quote initially and then suggested a different method that would work out more affordable for us - we really appreciated this. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend and would use again. Thank you!

  Boiler service and more

  I would like to express my satisfaction, with the way the boiler service was done recently. Few days after the boiler service, part of my home was flooded and the boiler stopped working. As it was late in the evening, Mathew guided me via video call only to find out that the boiler was fine and was the gas supply. Valliant would have charged me "call out" charge as there was nothing wrong with the boiler. Mathew was so patient with me. He is a 'God Sent' and I cannot thank him enough. It is without hesitation, I would Highly recommend MPD Plumbing & Heating.

  Quick and thorough plumbing service

  We had a leak that required change in some of the pipes under the kitchen sink urgently. Matthew was very prompt with the reply to the messages and got home within a couple of hours. He did the service very well, quickly and tidied up everything afterwards. Would definitely contact him again in case we need any further plumbing services in the future
