  Replacing floorboards on landing

  We were extremely pleased with the work Mark carried out. His communication was excellent, and the carpentry was completed to an exceptionally high standard, so we will certainly use him again in the future. Mark was pleasant to work with, offered helpful suggestions when unexpected issues arose, and made sure to tidy up at the end of each day.   Architraves - Exceptional Craftsmanship and Service

  We couldn’t be happier with the work Mark has done in our home. After having our upstairs windows replaced, we were left with bare brickwork where the original period mouldings had been removed. Mark handmade and installed beautiful decorative architraves and window ledges that completely restored the character of the space—you honestly wouldn’t know they weren’t original! Mark is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable. His attention to detail is outstanding, and he is reliable, super tidy, and very easy to have around.   Bespoke garden structures and furniture

  A number of external projects have been undertaken for us, with more being planned. Each project has met or exceeded our expectations (pricing; timeliness; quality of end product). Everyday the work area has been left tidy and clean, and we have certainly benefited from knowledgeable and experienced workmanship. Highly recommended.

  Shower pan replacement

  Mark was invaluable to me. Dealing with the crack in the shower pan was just the start of it. Tiles needed to be replaced, ditto cupboards, doors and door nobs refitted, lighting changed, stove installed, cracks in the coving patched up and repainted and numerous other jobs over three months. Property maintenance is his thing and he is very good at it. Very reliable and good at keeping me informed with suggestions and what he was doing. I will get him in again when I need to.

  Building stud wall/ electrical work and tiling

  MJH were great. Gave us a prompt quote and then started a few weeks later. This was quite a tricky job- separating two rooms. It Involved the building of a stud wall with pocket door, removing light fittings and replacing them in a different location, creating some inset shelving, tiling and replacing some wooden flooring and redecorating. Nothing fazed MJH even when we made some changes and the quality of workmanship is excellent. I would highly recommend.

  Wooden porch refurbishment

  Our original wooden porch was rotting in places. Contacted MJH and Mark responded promptly, provided a reasonable quote, and completed the job when he said he would. He arrived on time, and cleared away at the end of each day. The rotting wood was replaced and the porch sanded back and repainted. We are very pleased with the result and would be happy to use MJH Property Services again.
