  Misleading Pricing Information

  Pricing over the phone differed from advertised on CheckaTrade. Requested to clean kitchen& bathroom & cooker. Expected price £80 - 100. Attended the property quickly, cleaned cooker well, but parts of the floor of bathroom/ kitchen required extra cleaning according to tenant. Price jumped to £200 as another clean attended without my request. Very misleading communication about pricing. Another review says £190 for cleaning an entire 3 bed home & all kitchen appliances. Be careful.

The initial estimate of £80–£100 was based on a standard clean for the kitchen, bathroom, and cooker, assuming average condition. However, upon arrival, the property required a significantly more intensive clean than expected. The kitchen and cooker had heavy, built-up grease and old burnt stains, which required extra time.

  Needs improvement

  Three rooms needed deep cleaning, including all appliances, oven, and carpet cleaning on the landing and stairs. I paid £190 for 6 hours with oven and carpet included. Streaks were on the bathroom window, an unclean bathroom bin, and cleaning product stains on the oven side and hob. Fridge, sink, cupboards, surfaces untouched. Bedroom not cleaned at all. The living room was only dusted and mopped. I had to redo everything, which was frustrating. I didn't check properly until they left, and I looked at everything. Nice people, maybe a one-off, but not good value for money for me personally.

On the day, the work was carried out by myself and my son, and we did our best to complete as much as possible within your agreed £200 budget. We were also asked to finish earlier than initially planned, which limited the time available for a full deep clean of all areas. We focused on completing the main tasks, including the oven and carpets, within the time given.
