  Thermally insulated wall in our kitchen

  Chris was brilliant from start to finish. The change has made the whole room warmer and no longer prone to mould. Before accepting the job, Chris came out twice to assess the space. He was always punctual and full of helpful suggestions. He turned up on time every day, kept the quote reasonable, and was consistently courteous, friendly, and respectful of our home. He was especially thoughtful around our housecats, making sure they stayed safely indoors. He tidied up daily, kept us updated on progress. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris and will absolutely be using him again in the future

  Repointing and partial build of garden wall

  I was very impressed by the detail of the quote, which we requested. Chris did a great job and worked meticulously, which lead to a high quality finish. He explained what he was doing and was very easy to get on with. He is very trustworthy and I would highly recommend him.

  Professional and caring

  Chris has done several jobs for us now and has been professional and honest every step of the way. He does each job to the best standard and leaves the site very tidy. I cannot recommend him enough as a builder, but also a genuinely caring person. We have a 4 month old child and he always did his best not to wake him when possible (a challenge when doing building work!). He also made sure our neighbours garden and joining extension was left tidy after the job. The rendering and finish on our extension wall looks brand new. Couldn't be happier!

  Professional, tidy and helpful

  Chris responded to our initial request for a quote promptly and was able to source a couple of matching bricks to enable the repointing and making good work we required to be done very quickly and to a high standard also fitting in a couple of extra small jobs

  Hanging doors, architraves, skirting boards

  Chris has worked for us in the past and when we wanted our hallway redecorated, and I mean completely, including removal of dado rail, plastering, painting, new doors, architraves, new skirting, new loft ladder and opening etc we asked Chris. He provided a quote which was reasonable and upfront stated what the cost of any additional works would be. Although the work did take longer than expected, Chris worked extremely hard and kept us informed as the work commenced and we are absolutely delighted with the finished result.

  Professional and friendly service

  Chris has a friendly and professional approach. Excellent communication about the job and his approach and exploring the cause of some water ingress issues we were having. He left the place extremely tidy after he finished the repointing work and made sure we were happy with what was done. Upfront and honest about the time and cost of the work to be done as well. Would happily recommend Chris.
