  New windows for my new home

  Just moved into my new home and all the windows need replaced. Bedroom windows and kitchen have been done and what a difference it has made to the house. Love the handles, something different for me and love them.

  Double Glazing installation. 8 windows and a Velux.

  On the day of installation I got told the van had broken down and the installation team arrived 3 hours late. During that time the Velux window and parts arrived by delivery lorry and I had to help driver lift the crate up steps. This was clearly a 2 person job, just as well I am fit. The fitting team were still completing the job at 8.30pm. Payment was demanded by the fitting team which I eventually agreed to. 2 panes of double glazing are broken (broken in transit). The Velux window has still not been installed. All items have been paid for. There is no sign of this job being completed.

  Full Conservatory replacement

  New conservatory windows and front door

  It has been about 5 months since Mcfarlane Homes carried out the work to our home. We had new conservatory windows and doors fitted, as well as a new front door. Connor was helpful and prompt when he first attended. He offered some decent options to choose from. There was a slight hiccup on the installation when the team he had employed for the job left after an hour without explanation. Connor was not aware of this when he asked for an update. A new team were found to carry out the work a week later. They worked efficiently and we are happy with the work. So far leaks or problems.

  New conservation Sash and case windows

  Got double glazing installed to replace sash windows in Edinburgh City centre. Connor who brought a demo window was able to recommend that would suit our conservation area requirements. Connor could recommend a grade of double glazing and didn’t try to upsell me anything unnecessarily. The installer Mark, Craig and Chris were lovely and hard working. Some miscommunication meant they came a week earlier than expected, but no biggie. Everyone was very polite throughout the process. Very pleased with the results, our flat is much warmer!
