  High quality project delivered on time

  We engaged Mohammed for a rear extension after our previous builders goofed up, and ended up engaging them for the outbuilding renovation and driveway work too, convinced by their professionalism and attention to detail. The extension project was complicated due to a manhole so it required liaising with Thames Water and the architects regularly, but Matstone pulled the project successfully without us feeling the pain it could have been! Mohammed and his entire team are very patient, and provide personalised service and are at hand to re-do things in case something doesn't go as expected.

  Overpromised and Under-delivered

  Matstone Projects handled extensive renovations for us, but the experience was disappointing. Despite some decent plastering and decorating, the project was marred by poor communication (incl. language barriers), repeated errors, low standards, and misguided advice. Plumbing and electrical work were poorly executed, leaving visible pipes, crooked sockets, and unresolved issues. Promised snagging checks with Mohammed never happened, and responsiveness was slow in the latter stages. Overall, we would only recommend Matstone for small, short-term jobs and will not use them for future projects.

  Dear Customer, Thank you for the feedback. As advised to you before start, the property was in a significantly poor condition, and achieving a full refurbishment standard within a limited three-week timeframe and budget for a three-bedroom house was not feasible. The works were intended as a short-term solution rather than a complete transformation. In hindsight, we acknowledge that managing expectations clearly at the outset would have been beneficial.   Major renovation and 1st floor extension

  We've had a great experience with Mohammed and the team. Professional from start to finish. Competitive quote, really impressively tight schedule (which they stuck to) and a very high standard of workmanship. Mohammed takes real pride in achieving a high quality result and it shows - check out his VR walkthroughs of prior work and you'll understand. He also takes care of sourcing most materials for the interior, saving you endless hours of project management work, and can build you a fantastic kitchen to boot.   Rear house extension

  Does not manage to schedule no rush meeting when he is not ill. Then he sends a quote and when we ask for explanation on it he said that he just rely on the sowtware to do the calulations and when we ask why the calculations are not clear then he is not able to explain and decided to pass on the job.
