Matstone Projects handled extensive renovations for us, but the experience was disappointing. Despite some decent plastering and decorating, the project was marred by poor communication (incl. language barriers), repeated errors, low standards, and misguided advice. Plumbing and electrical work were poorly executed, leaving visible pipes, crooked sockets, and unresolved issues. Promised snagging checks with Mohammed never happened, and responsiveness was slow in the latter stages. Overall, we would only recommend Matstone for small, short-term jobs and will not use them for future projects.

As advised to you before start, the property was in a significantly poor condition, and achieving a full refurbishment standard within a limited three-week timeframe and budget for a three-bedroom house was not feasible. The works were intended as a short-term solution rather than a complete transformation.
In hindsight, we acknowledge that managing expectations clearly at the outset would have been beneficial.
