  From first contact, to completion of our job, George was quick to respond to our enquiry and provided a detailed quote without delay. Communication has been excellent throughout. He arrived when he said he would, was no trouble at all - a methodical and extremely tidy worker with very high standards - and we are difficult to please! We are delighted with the work and it was a tricky job: applying thermal liner and lining paper to a high stairwell wall. After three coats to wall and ceiling, the area is transformed and we could not be happier. We are so pleased to have found him!

  Painting front door and garage.

  George from Marvig Ltd was great. Responded to my enquiry promptly, arranged to come round and look at what needed doing. Talked me through options. Provided a quote. We agreed a date. He turned up bang on time. On applying a test patch of paint we both thought the paint supplier hadnt mixed it right and the colour was off, so he went back - got another batch, then prepared the door and garage surfaces before painting the coats. Finished result looks great, really smartened the front of the house up. Very pleased all round. Would recommend this supplier. One of the good ones.

  Front door, kitchen windows and sills, front window sills.

  George was not the cheapest quote I got but I hired him anyway because I felt he knew what he was talking about. I am so glad I did, he and his mate did an excellent job, my old kitchen windows, Victorian front door and the eaves above were stripped right back to the wood, filled then repainted. They did a proper, professional job and I would have no hesitation in recommending them or employing them again in the future. His excellent reviews on checkatrade are well deserved, as is this one.   Repainting a room + a summerhouse

  George and George were exceptional. Turned up in time every day. Worked diligently to get the work done on time. No extra charges, no hassle - just conscientiously finishing the job at hand. Provided trustworthy advice, didn’t do short cuts but did little extras. Properly prepared surfaces to ensure no issues in the long term. They won’t be the cheapest but in the long run, their approach will save you money because they do it properly first time. Would 100% recommend and will be using them again.
