George from Marvig Ltd was great. Responded to my enquiry promptly, arranged to come round and look at what needed doing. Talked me through options. Provided a quote. We agreed a date. He turned up bang on time. On applying a test patch of paint we both thought the paint supplier hadnt mixed it right and the colour was off, so he went back - got another batch, then prepared the door and garage surfaces before painting the coats. Finished result looks great, really smartened the front of the house up. Very pleased all round. Would recommend this supplier. One of the good ones.

George was not the cheapest quote I got but I hired him anyway because I felt he knew what he was talking about. I am so glad I did, he and his mate did an excellent job, my old kitchen windows, Victorian front door and the eaves above were stripped right back to the wood, filled then repainted. They did a proper, professional job and I would have no hesitation in recommending them or employing them again in the future. His excellent reviews on checkatrade are well deserved, as is this one. Contact him, he's a gem.

George and George were exceptional. Turned up in time every day. Worked diligently to get the work done on time. No extra charges, no hassle - just conscientiously finishing the job at hand. Provided trustworthy advice, didn’t do short cuts but did little extras. Properly prepared surfaces to ensure no issues in the long term. They won’t be the cheapest but in the long run, their approach will save you money because they do it properly first time. Would 100% recommend and will be using them again.

George kindly came over to paint a new summerhouse we had installed in our garden. He was polite, on time, and did a really good job from start to finish. Really nice guy too - we will be using him again in future for other painting and decorating work.
