  painful experience

  two visits to install a new stopcock and a water filter, installed the filter incorrectly and couldn't change the stopcock on the first visit. Came back to fix the water filter and replace the stopcock, left when the job was finished and the kitchen and hallway were basically flooded then charged me for both visits. I wouldn't use them again.

  Avoid for urgent jobs, customer expectations are not managed actively or well

  I contacted Mark Smith to fix three simple plumbing issues (one was urgent), I booked the appointment two weeks before, they visited to understand the jobs and said I would get a quote and they would order parts within a day. After a few days I was not successful in getting through on the phone, they texted saying under staffed but hope to quote (no timeframes). A week later, despite the urgency, I was told casually that noone had started to quote/order parts because they were behind. I said I felt let down and ought find another plumber, they seemed not bothered until I said i will complain

  I inquired , and received an answer same day. We arranged a date & AM or PM time, which is always helpful. He turned up about 8.30. Perfect. Was polite & friendly. Was here just over an hour and was very thorough. I would highly recommend this company
