  Jamie was extremely helpful and understood the requirements of the job. The task was completed quickly and easily. I would recommended Jamie very highly and will seek his services for any future tasks.

  Poor craftsmanship and willNot rectify the issue

  We hired them to carry out some work on our kitchen. Latch on kitchen cupboard has come away and needed replacing, similar story for another cabinet. Initially was happy with the work but few months later both cupboards the latch had come loose on one and had come off on other. I contacted the company informed them can they sort it and they have kept delaying on a date to Come. It appears they are happy to take the money for an awful Job and will not fix it for us. I’ve had to hire a handyman pay extra who did a better job. Very surprised given that 5 star reviews. Avoid

  We are sorry that you are dissatisfied and feel we have tried our best to help with your situation. When we initially fixed the hinges on the cupboard we informed you that it would only be a temporary fix, that the only way this would stop happening is to fit a completely new kitchen unit that would be able to take the weight of the heavily loaded larder doors, when this failed for the second time, we did a free of charge revisit to rectify and reiterated that the hinge failure would happen again. We feel that this is a very unfair review as we have very high standards as our reviews confirm.

  Removal of old skirting, supply and replacement of new skirting boards.

  Really happy with the work Jamie has carried out. Removed old water damage skirting. Removed signs of black mould and has sized and fitted new skirting. Very good communications and completed the job quickly.

  Quality workmanship from start to finish

  We couldn’t be happier with the work Jamie at Maple Leaf Carpentry has done. He came on board after our previous builder disappeared and left us with the headache of fixing poor workmanship. Right from the start, Jamie’s professionalism, skill, and knowledge were a real breath of fresh air and gave us confidence that things were finally back on track. He handled some tricky situations with care and expertise whist fitting our kitchen and door arcetrave, always taking the time to explain what needed doing and making sure everything was finished to a high standard.   Great capenter would throughly recommend him

  We have had Jamie complete several jobs for us these include door replacement, window replacement and installation of a floor. All these jobs have been completed to a high standard. The building is an old chapel so has some challenges which Jamie has dealt with and kept us in the loop at every stage. Would throughly recommend him and will be using his service again in the future.

  Kitchen cabinet removal & worktop adjustment

  Dan was punctual, easy to communicate with, and completed the job to a high standard. He removed a kitchen cabinet and trimmed the worktop perfectly, leaving everything neat and tidy. I’d happily recommend Maple Leaf Carpenters and would use them again.
