  Very easy & responsive to deal with: phoned to arrange a visit to quote and came the next day on the time agreed-not a window of X hours but exactly the time agreed. Quote came the same day in the evening and by 9am the following day had an agreed date to carry out the work. Came at the time on the agreed date, very efficient and professional in carrying out the work and all very tidy. Gave some good general tree advice as well. This is a family operation, and really cared, very rare in my experience. Very pleased.

  Tree reduction and pleached tree pruning

  M and J Tree Specialists reduced a very large black walnut tree in our garden which has an TPO and also pruned our pleached hornbeams. They handled everything for us including applying for permission to reduce the tree which was very helpful. Mark was very knowledgeable about how to navigate the process. All the work was completed at the time specified and to a high standard and will make a huge difference to our garden in terms of light and aesthetics. Thank you so much!

  We had three trees, two dead, in a tricky position. Mark, George and the team did a great job of removing them with a minimum of disruption. They then did a fantastic job of grinding the large stump, leaving the area clean and tidy. All this for a good price!

  We had a large beech tree removed. M&J have helped with a number of trees on my property over the last decade. I’m always really pleased with the service, quotes are accurate, comms are good and they tidy up after themselves.
