Poor Work Ethic - Unprofessional Conduct - Excessive Pricing - Work needed to be redone

Subpar work. His installation of a new hob was faulty, which we had to fix ourselves. He left us without a kitchen sink for days, claiming our plumbing was too old and failing to use the correct parts. The vanity unit was also incorrectly plumbed, leading to reduced water flow and requiring a complete redo by a professional. He charged excessive hourly rate of £45, far above his initial quote, with no clear estimate or invoice. His conduct was unprofessional, and he refused to take responsibility for his poor workmanship or offer a refund to cover the necessary repairs. Avoid this tradesman.

This involved the assembly of flat-pack kitchen cupboards, worktop and a chest of drawers. Maksym and his associate carried out the work. The work was professional, and despite unforeseen problems along the way, they resolved them to our satisfaction. They worked enthusiastically, If the job entails extra work and is not a fixed price, it is worth negotiating at the end of the day.
