    Used LTY Carpentry for some work across a few rental properties — really impressed. They showed up on time, got the job done properly, and didn’t need chasing. Quality of the work was great and tenants were happy too, which makes my life easier. Good communication and fair pricing. Will definitely be using them again for future jobs.

    Luke was great before and during the works. Speedy responses and high quality work and materials for a great price. He even popped a couple of signs on the doors for us without being asked! Would definitely recommend.

LTY Carpentry – Terms & Conditions of Service

1. Booking & Confirmation

A job is considered confirmed once we receive written or verbal approval and/or a payment toward materials or labour. A confirmed job reserves time in our schedule exclusively for your project.

2. Payments & Deposits

Material payments are required in advance and are used to secure items needed for your job. Labour charges are typically due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

3. Materials & Sourcing

We source materials from trusted suppliers such as Howdens Joinery, and all materials are selected based on the agreed design. Any changes must be agreed in writing and may affect cost and timing.

4. Cancellations

If a client cancels after materials are ordered, the cost of those materials is non-refundable.

If a client cancels within 7 calendar days of the scheduled start date, and time has been reserved, a partial or full charge may apply to cover lost working time.

5. Delays & Rescheduling

If rescheduling is necessary, we ask for as much notice as possible. In some cases, weather, supplier delays, or unforeseen circumstances may require us to reschedule — we will always communicate this clearly.

6. Work Area & Access

The client must ensure the work area is accessible, safe, and free from obstructions. If work cannot proceed due to access issues, additional charges may apply.

7. Waste Disposal

Removal of old materials is not included unless agreed beforehand. Disposal can be arranged at additional cost.

8. Snagging & Completion

All work is carried out to a high standard. Any snagging must be reported within 7 days of completion for us to return and resolve.

9. Guarantees

All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months. This covers installation faults only and excludes general wear or customer-caused damage.

10. Insurance & Liability

LTY Carpentry holds full public liability insurance. We are not responsible for damage to concealed pipes, wires, or structural issues unless disclosed prior to starting work.
