Fixed £500. I supplied most materials. Fitter declined repeat asks for a site check. I sent a detailed video. Problems arose that a visit might prevented. Ran out of laminate due to high waste. I paid £100 extra for a return. The video showed the pattern, but high waste wasn’t flagged. Job included fixing subfloor, but it stayed unstable after adhesive. The laminate was lifted and padded with cardboard. Floor still not solid. Alternative was a big extra cost to screed. I’d pay if quoted upfront. Finish feels rushed in places with messy cuts, a squeak. Paid £600 cash. Insist on a site visit.

Hi mate thank for you review. Sorry to hear you now not happy over some sort of squeak that’s arose? I did ask to let me know a good time the one time you called and sent video but never got an actual date, so thought the squeak had now settled as some cases laminate can squeak in places. Correct you supplied and correct you ran out of materials as you under measurements on it. Yes I had to charge to return a wee later as that’s standard practice due to you. You paid cash and paid at end of job so you was satisfied. To now complain and leave a snotty review may thanks. Lee
