Couldn’t recommend more highly. I approached several companies for quotes. Kevin came to survey our property and provided a well thought out system for our property, which was far more well thought out than the usual 5/10 panels and a 5k battery. Clear communication throughout the process from start to finish including the quiet time between quote and obtaining authorisations. Installation took three days as predicted and Kevin and Louis worked diligently in extremely hot conditions to set up operational, finishing with a proper handover and explanation of the system and app.Verified reviewerJob location: TN210 Excellent service

Job location: CT2From the time we called, Kevin and Andy were extremely helpful. Andy called the next day, examined everything and told us we needed a new inverter for our solar panels. Luckily, Kevin had one in stock and Andy was with us the following day to hook it all up. He was hugely knowledgeable and thorough. Additionally, the invoices were all sent through quickly. K Jones Electrical has been trading for 18 years previous to that Kevin's father David traded in the Wealden area as a sole trader from 1969. He was qualified as an electrician in 1966, what a year! Kevin was taken on as his apprentice in 1987 and they spent 6 years working together.
Kevin then left to join a lighting maintenance company and worked for them for 10 years and worked his way up to Area Manager. Now Louis, Kevin's son has started his apprenticeship with his father.
We also have several fully qualified electricians that work for the company, 2 of which are qualified to install solar PV. We believe in investing in our staff and keep all their qualifications up to date and we have highly motivated staff who work extremely hard.
We are a Christian company who believe in being 100% honesty in all our business dealings. We believe we provide an exceptional customer service with good communication skills and a very high standard of workmanship is expected from all.
WHATS UP, WITH WATTS UP SOLAR?
We used to be known as Watts Up Solar but our customers found this extremely confusing therefore we have taken the decision to go back to our roots and re-name the business back to K Jones Electrical. We are still using the Watts Up Solar company as our Ltd name but we are officially known as Watts Up Solar t/a K Jones Electrical. There is no change to our Solar customers and we will still honour all our many installations.
Governing Bodies are NIC/EIC fully approved contractors. We choose NIC/EIC because they uphold the highest standard and we believe that we need to aim high in every area of our business.
The range our work we undertake take are as follows:
Emergency call-out for Electrical faults. Re-wires. New Builds. Lighting design for Commercial, Domestic Industrial Solar PV and Electrical. Small scale PV and large scale PV.CCTV. Cat 5 wiring. Lighting control systems. Auto gates. Electrical Testing and inspection (EICR). Electrical energy surveys. Reduction of electrical consumption. Cooker repairs and small works to large scale installations.
