  Quick turn around, high standard of work

  From quote to a finished exterior, Karl and his team have kept me update and involved on all decisions relating to how I wanted my home to look. They've worked hard through some pretty relentless weather and finished the exterior quickly but to a high standard. I would highly recommend Karl and his team.

  Kitchen/diner Renovations

  Karl and the lads completed a range of work at my house including replacing joists, damp proofing and fitting a kitchen. Communication was efficient, work was done quickly, especially as it was the lead up to Xmas and nothing was too much. Very fairly priced and would highly recommend for any work needed!

  Great communication, quality work, great value

  Reached out to K A metcalfe building a couple of weeks ago regarding some structural work, Karl arranged to visit site a couple of days later. After talking through the require work Karl put me in touch with and architect who drew up the plan and submitted this to building control. Given the green light a couple of days later Karl and his team began work putting in the steel bean and demolishing the current wall. Finished the job in two days removing the rubbish and leaving a great open plan space. Very happy with the finish and value for money. Will be using them again.

  The Builders were reliable, attended when they said they would, worked extremely hard all day whilst here, were able to perform a wide range of tasks and the end product is not only life transforming, but has been completed to a high specification. Their prices were reasonable and I would highly recommend them.

  Extension and downstairs refurb

  We hired Karl and team to build a brand-new extension with kitchen-diner, flat roof and sky lights plus a refurb of the ground floor of our old farmhouse. We recommend Karl and his team whole-heartedly and would use them again without hesitation. From our perspective it was a complex job, but Karl is an experienced and confident project manager. The team are skilled, tidy and always considerate of our neighbours. The cost was competitive and transparent, and Karl's communication was brilliant – he was really responsive and quick to fix even minor issues.

  Hearth stone fitting

  We recently used K A Metcalfe and were really impressed by their work. Despite having a very tight deadline, they delivered on time and even exceeded our expectations.
