  Temporary fix sold as a solution - avoid.

  I sent JW Security clear video/photos of UPVC window fault. Quoted £130 as “straightforward”. Once onsite, the story changed: “mechanism discontinued”, and instead of fixing the fault, they fitted 2 sash jammers instead! Price jumped to £180. Sash jammers are a temporary stop-gap, not a repair, and the parts are under £5 each. “Discount” of £15 offered after I complained. Later discovered that the mechanism is easily obtainable - it's a new build flat. Paid £165 and lots of stress for poor outcome. I'm now paying another company to fix my window properly. Completely unprofessional. Avoid.

  Hi Leon, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience and we would like to provide some clarification. We initially quoted £135 to adjust and align the existing window mechanism. While on site, it was found to be inoperable. You were contacted at the time via phone call and agreed to the installation of two sash jammers at an additional cost, with video examples provided showing the proposed solution . A £15 goodwill discount was later applied and agreed. All work was completed as instructed and to a good standard.

  I had a fantastic experience with JW Security when they repaired the windows in my rented flat. From start to finish, communication was excellent - clear, prompt and reassuring. The engineers were very kind, professional and genuinely helpful, which made the whole process feel relaxed and completely hassle-free.   Excellent service

  Needed the front uPVC door lock realigned as couldn't get the mechanism to lock when the front door was shut. Jordan was professional, courteous and fixed the problem at the agreed time and for the quoted price. Overall very happy with the service, would definitely recommend.

  Hi Prashant Thank you for your feedback. The new lock couldn’t be installed due to other contractors making repairs on the current lock which made it harder for us to do and we provided a new solution which you declined due to the cost of the mechanism as the one you had was very expensive.
