  Do not use JAKS, his work is shoddy and he won't come back to fix it after you have paid him

  A year ago we had some windows repaired by JAKS. After three months the paint started peeling and the wood was exposed to the elements. I got in touch with JAKS and he said he would come around to take a look in a couple of weeks when he was in the area. He never did, so I emailed him numerous times but there was always an excuse as to why he couldn't come and eventually he stopped replying to my messa all together. Now a year on I still haven't been able to get him to come back to fix his shoddy work. It was not a cheap job so I feel very aggrieved at his lack of professionalism and skill.

  Replacement glass lean-to roof

  Alan and his team did a terrific job, despite encountering unexpected problems. We now have glazing that’s not misted, and - importantly - doesn’t leak. He was busy, so we had to wait for a while to get the job done, but it was worth it.

  Skylight replacement

  Deposit paid work not done

  I contacted Jaks Sash Windows for a quote for a new front door and replacement glass in a double glazed window. Had a very speedy reply and was told it would take 10 days for the new door to arrive. Once I'd paid the (large) deposit my phone calls were ignored and it took 3 weeks to answer emails. Door was (apparently) ready 2 months later than it should have been, but with emails not answered it was impossible to arrange a time to fit it. It took so long (3 months) that the property was sold without any of the work being done and I lost all my 4 figure deposit.

  Door was damaged by manufacture.They ordered new one which did take longer . Unfortunately your not out of pocket your deposit actually brought a door and 2 windows.appointment was booked then 2 weeks later youemail us, don’t need door we’ve sold house .

  Springs in sash windows

  GOING ON 10 MONTHS I contacted them on 28th November 2022 to have 5 sash windows the springs to be replaced top and bottom after numerous appts they made and did not show up they eventually came but they said they had done the work but they had in fact had done nothing which I found out after I had paid them £1500.00 they have since said that on 1 September that they would deliver the springs the next day asked them to confirm am or pm heard nothing so I am now making a claim through the county court to reimburse me COMPANY IS DISHONEST AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED

  Windows and doors

  When getting in contact for a quote they was very helpful, much more than other company's I made enquiries too. The service was great, price too, they worked around my busy work life. No one would even know they had been ( I think they left it cleaner they when they arrived lol) I will definitely be using them again and I do highly recommend to any one. Even had a service with a smile. Thanks for the great job guys.
