  Replacing an old radiator with a towel rail

  Gary was extremely kind, helpful and professional throughout the job. He provided me with several different options and clearly explained each one, allowing me to choose the best solution. He completed the work within the timeframe he had originally suggested, and the entire job was completed on the same day as his initial visit to the house. I’m very happy with the service provided and would definitely recommend Gary and JRQ

  A long and expensive job completed!

  - We put the job onto Checkatrade, and JRQ responded rapidly to our submission: the wall radiator in the en-suite bathroom was running cold. - The plumber arrived on time, was always very polite and communicative. - Soon enough the radiator was replaced but it was clear that the supply was blocked. Trying to clear the blockage took up most of the seven hours, but eventually the radiator was hot: a long and very expensive job was done!

  Long job successfully completed.

  For around a year the wall radiator in our en-suite shower room had run cold, although a hammer could make it warm for a while -obviously a blockage! JRQ were first to respond to our request, and although we hadn't used them before they, the early bird, which got the worm. The job was quite difficult and took seven hours - thus also very expensive. JRQ's plumber rose to the challenge, fitted the new radiator, and set about clearing the blockage. Seven hours later the radiator was hot again. JRQs plumber was polite, knowledgeable and highly competent.

What initially appeared to be a straightforward radiator issue turned into a much more difficult job, so we’re pleased our engineer was able to diagnose the problem and successfully complete the work. With a job requiring around seven hours of labour, we always aim to be transparent about the work involved and ensure the issue is properly resolved rather than applying a temporary fix.
