The leaking valve in the toilet system was mended by fitting a new diaphragm. An isolator valve was fitted to the cistern supply. So far so good. When I tried to flush the toilet later that evening it would not work due to insufficient water in the cistern. I remedied that by adjusting the level of the float. Only easy if you have a screwdriver and spanner. I was also recommended to have a complete new valve assembly which was not needed. Debris was left in the tank and on the floor despite the engineer having a vacuum cleaner. The toilet brush holder was also soiled

Dear Mr Douglas,
I’m sorry to hear you had had a poor experience.
Our engineers always try and carry out their work to the best standard.
I will look into this further.
It’s a shame you didn’t let us know you weren’t satisfied as I could have sent someone back out of courtesy to put things right for you.
Regards
Jonathon Quinn
