John Francis Engineering Ltd has been in many international offshore Gas & Oilfield pipelines & subsea operations since 1984. To sleep well at night JFEL will also advise you on standard and extended warranties so you will know that IF a breakdown occurs in the warranty period it will not cost an arm and a leg (in most cases free of charge)

Traditional Systems:

Boiler and Radiator systems are the “norm” in most properties and will work fine. However, the attention to detail in design and installation is imperative to produce a highly efficient system. Correct controls and insulation will minimise the carbon footprint of your property even with traditional heat sources. The efficiency of many newer systems can be 94%+

Under-Floor Heating Systems (UFH):

Many people find radiators ugly and inconvenient for furniture positioning. With UFH systems the layout of rooms is not hindered by radiators. That is aesthetic properties but UFH has a much more defined purpose. UFH is loved by its owners and pets alike and as UFH requires low temperature water it is a perfect match for Heat Pumps, Solar Power Cylinders and of course traditional Boiler heat sources. UFH systems are efficient and often second to none for larger properties. The UFH system can be installed in new-build or retro-fitted to solid and/or timber floors.

Renewable & Green Energy Systems:

With enhanced consciousness of the environmental issues it makes sense to both protect the amount of money you spend heating your home and its escape into the environment. Renewable energy systems, generally coupled to UFH systems can help protect your purse as well as the environmental impact on your energy consumption.

Control Systems:

The correct control system is a key component to controlling the amount of money you spend on heating your home, regardless which type of system you have. JFES will guide you through the options such as HIVE, NEST, Drayton Wiser, Honeywell Smarthome amongst others which allow you to control your heat output remotely, whilst away, via Phone, Notepad or Laptops.

Servicing:

Our follow-up servicing schedule, to ensure problem free systems, will keep your system in Tip-Top condition, assisting in preventing costly and complicated breakdowns later. JFEL can schedule annual servicing for you, also maintaining your system warranty intact. Services will generally take 45-90 minutes where access is straight-forward.

Repairs & Timing:

If a repair requires replacement parts, JFEL will endevour to execute the repair within a day, pending parts being in stock or available nearby and to suit your schedule. We do not stop at 17:00 hrs and will make every effort to return your system to fully operational, same day, whenever we can, to re-establish your comfort. JFEL will also arrange out-of hours visits up to 20:00 where it better suits your schedule and we discuss timings well in advance (72hrs).
