Our house did not have any heating upstairs (previous loft conversion) and we were told by other companies that installing a radiator would be either too difficult, or too costly. Issue with mains water.

I had a particular problem with my water supply involving groundworks. I needed specialist advice and a plan and found John Francis Engineering Ltd on the web. I phoned and John replied.
He concluded that he was unable to help with this particular issue. However [rather than a quick & polite brush-off], he did take time to listen to my issue and have a think about it. He then made some suggestions as to where I might pursue a solution.
While I did not do business this time with John, given this response, he will certainly be top of my list when next I have a plumbing issue.

Fault code on boiler

My boiler had just stopped working on a bank holiday weekend and I wasn’t able to get an engineer for four day at the earliest. I found Johns contact on check a trade with high hopes as I had called 3 people previously who couldn’t help or told me it would be £300 for a call out. But he managed to help me over the phone while he technically wasn’t even working. He managed to instruct me on how to temporally fix the fault code and it got my boiler working again. Honestly could not thank him enough.
